One year after the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, led by Gamal Abdel Nasser, and to strengthen the bonds of friendship with Iraq, Major (Sagh) Salah Salem, a member of the Egyptian Revolutionary Command Council, arrived at the Sarsink Summer Resort in northern Iraq for talks.
