"A Servant King Among the People" It was a long-standing tradition for the Royal Family during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha to receive well-wishers, including delegations, prominent figures, and ordinary citizens. Often, the King or the Prince and the Royal Family would walk among the public, practicing Eid rituals in Baghdad or other Iraqi provinces.
